Wrench Works

Event Branding Proposal

Wrench Works 2025 is a proposed brand identity for MaintainX’s first flagship event. The concept centers on the people, tools, and systems that keep modern industrial operations running.

This event was envisioned as a space to celebrate those who power the day-to-day, from maintenance professionals to engineers and systems thinkers.

I developed this branding proposal to capture that spirit. The identity features a modular visual language inspired by real-world workflows, a scalable logo system, and a bold, functional design aligned with the MaintainX brand.

[Disclaimer]
This project was an early concept shared internally as part of the creative exploration phase for Wrench Works. While it wasn’t selected for final rollout, this case study highlights the thinking and design direction developed during that process.

CREATING THE FOUNDATION FOR FUTURE GROWTH

Outcome

This direction was developed as a bolder visual proposal for Wrench Works, exploring how the event identity could feel more ownable, modern, and memorable while still connecting back to the MaintainX brand.

Although the final selected direction stayed closer to the existing brand system, this proposal helped push the conversation around how Wrench Works could show up as a larger event experience. It created a more distinctive visual framework for storytelling, signage, digital promotion, merch, and on-site applications, showing how the identity could scale across multiple touchpoints while feeling cohesive and recognizable.
